Gus Rossi recently authored an article "Public Procurement as AI Industrial Policy" arguing for a model of leveraging public procurement to drive sustainable practices in AI. Merve Hickok published a book "From Trustworthy AI Principles to Public Procurement Practices" in which she provides actionable recommendations for practitioners and policymakers on how to implement trustworthy AI principles in the procurement of AI systems and why such implementation is a necessity.
