Gregor Strojin (Chair of CAHAI @Council of Europe Ad Hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence)
Gregor Strojin is the elected Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence at the Council of Europe (CAHAI). Primarily working with the Supreme Court of Slovenia since 2002, Gregor has extensive experience in the crossroads of technology, information and law, and has contributed to many acclaimed projects improving the effectiveness, quality and access to justice. Gregor also served as the State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice of Slovenia, is a member of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) and its CYBERJUST working group, and collaborates with a number of international organisations on technology and information related policy issues.

Merve Hickok is the founder of AIethicist.org. She is an independent consultant & trainer focused on capacity building in ethical and responsible AI and governance of AI systems. Merve is a Senior Researcher Center for AI & Digital Policy; founding editorial board member of Springer Nature AI & Ethics journal and one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics 2021. She collaborates with several international organizations setting the global standards for governance of autonomous systems.
